What’s New in Music and Voice Sound Systems

Many at least know what the boom box was or remember the walkman. Music systems sure have changed, especially with the advent of the MP3 system. For example, there’s no more need for large players and large pockets to place them in! A credit card sized unit with touch control — ear buds — downloaded music and one is good to go.

The same concept holds true for today’s music and voice sound systems. There’s no necessity for large and heavy multi-pieced sound reinforcement equipment — say — for a small musical group playing in a fine restaurant or an educator delivering a commencement address. These systems have evolved and for the better.

So, what’s new in music and voice sound systems? Well, the sound-quality, size, portability, and ease of operation in sound equipment has gotten so much better. It’s so much more doable for the everyday user; like for a sales force giving a presentation or an official making a speech. Yes, the people not setting up the sound for “stadium – rock at a halftime show”.

It’s really cool seeing what’s new in music systems; portable public address systems and lectern type set-ups for indoor or outdoor use; intercom systems; assistive listening and wireless equipment. Check out the new sound reproduction systems and best of luck with that speech or gig!
